About Jürgen Braun

As Head of Sales and Project Management in Germany and Switzerland, Jürgen and his team are responsible for bringing our transport and pharmacy automation systems to healthcare institutions. Jürgen benefits every day on his Purple Journey from his many years of experience in working with different cultures and personalities, as well as his skill at finding technical solutions.

We asked Jürgen

What is the most fascinating thing about your job?

My job has a purpose. We work with people and for them. That’s because our goal is to make the work of doctors and nurses easier, and enable better and more reliable care for people who are sick and in need.

What have been the most important stages in your career?

I spent 20 years working for a leading international company in plant engineering, and traveled around the world for my job. Then I worked in intralogistics and robotics. I am passionate about technology and was fortunately able to quickly get my bearings there. I worked on many successful projects with leading businesses. I’ve now been at Swisslog Healthcare since October 2020, where I currently lead the Sales and Project Management team in Germany and Switzerland.

Can you tell us something about yourself as a person?

I’m a huge football fan. I no longer play myself, but I’m a passionate Borussia Dortmund supporter. Football even has an influence on how I manage my team. Jürgen Klopp is my major role model here. My other passion is singing, even if I’m not very good at it. Wherever there is good music playing, I’m always singing along to the lyrics.
