Internal Communications Specialist

The candidate will drive information through corporate communication for an internal audiences using multiple communication tools (announcements, intranet, videos, etc.), employee events, and meetings in order to improve alignment and address program goals and objectives throughout Swisslog Healthcare. This is a hands-on role in a fast paced environment which includes development and implementation of global communications, project management of multi-channel campaigns, data analysis of successes and pivot opportunities, and creative problem solving.

Your collaboration

Primary goals for this role include:

  • Develop internal communication strategies and roadmaps in order to influence, shape, advance and integrate cross-functional communications strategy across the organization taking into account the various interest groups of the company.
  • Lead the planning, organization, coordination and execution of internal and corporate meetings 
  • Develop and oversee employee communications initiatives designed to support key business objectives, long-term goals, and projects 
  • Serve as the EMEA and APAC ambassador and power user of the company’s intranet, the Purple Hub.
  • Budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, and budget updates reported to management month over month
  • Develop, produce and deliver programs and services that promote employee retention.
  • Aid in the creation, execution, and measurement of Employee Satisfaction Survey and analytics of the survey.
  • Aid in the creation, execution, and measurement of Global Customer Satisfaction Survey and analytics of the survey.

Your competence

To be successful in the role we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related Healthcare management field, Masters a plus
  • 3-7 years marketing or communications, and/or administrative support related experience at corporate executive level
  • Fluent English
  • Must have experience in writing and turning complex information into relevant, engaging, timely and valuable content
  • Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously and to work autonomously
  • Expert level with Office365 suite, especially PPT, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Strong presentation skills, strong leadership skills, able to work collaboratively
  • Strong customer focus and relationship management skills; ability to influence behaviors and results 
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced ERP and/or CRM system experience
  • Ability to translate requirements to meet business objectives
