In April 2024, we partnered with the Finnish company Ecosir—a specialist in automated vacuum transfer services. This collaboration allows us to provide a more comprehensive approach to transport automation, now including waste and linen management.
We are now pleased to share that Oslo University Hospital's New Rikshospitalet will benefit from this efficient and environmentally friendly system when it opens to patients in 2031. The system is designed to handle four types of waste and laundry: laundry, residual waste, paper, and plastic. It is expected to transport nearly 3,000 tons of residual waste, 670 tons of paper, and 15 tons of plastic annually.
We are proud to contribute to the development of future-oriented healthcare facilities in collaboration with the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority and all project stakeholders.
